• paying the right VAT and duties for your goods
• how to make declarations for your goods to clear the UK border
• which commodity codes you’ll need to classify your goods

You’ll need to know:

• where the goods are going to (and coming from if you’re importing)
• when your goods will arrive at the UK border if you’re importing – it does not have to be the exact date
